The International Hellenic University and ECOCITY organize an event on Ecological Transportation in Thessaloniki Monday, May 16th 2011, in the University Auditorium at 17:30 – 20:30
Major changes in the development of the city of Thessaloniki are strongly influenced by the developments following the implementation of the local government reform bill “Kallikrates”, traffic solutions and the need to reform city planning in accordance with the European Union Sustainable Mobility Policy. These important perspectives will be the focus of the event organised by International Hellenic University and the Organisation ECOCITY under the auspices of the Mayor of Thessaloniki Yiannis Boutaris, on Monday, May 16th. The event will provide a forum where State Agencies and Local Government officials, as well as Academics and civil society representatives will present views and proposals on the topic.
