Associate Prof. Ioannis Stamelos: An Associate Professor with the Department of Informatics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 1983 and a PhD in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1988.

His research activity focuses on Software Engineering, with emphasis in software management, empirical software engineering, Free/Libre Open source software.

He has over 90 publications including papers in international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings, and he has edited/co-authored three books. He is a member of IEEE, a reviewer for 10 scientific Journals and has participated in several conferences.
