He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 1987. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, from Princeton University in 1993, and a Master degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University in 1989. He is appointing a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Western.
