He graduated from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Athens in 1999. He obtained his Ph.D. in “Hedging Volatility Risk”, from Athens University of Economics & Business in 2006, and an MBA with specialization in Financial Engineering, from Athens University of Economics & Business, in 2001. He was a Lecturer in Finance, in Manchester Business School, University of Manchester and from 2008 is a lecturer in Finance & Investments, in the Department of Industrial Management, at the University of Piraeus.
