Apply for a scholarship

 

The IHU offers a number of scholarships for the MSc in Ιnformation & Communication Technology Systems and MSc in Energy Systems programmes, covering a significant proportion of the programme fees.

These scholarships are competitive. Award criteria include the quality of the first degree, the undergraduate grades of the candidate, his/her command of the English language and overall profile.

Candidates for scholarships should submit their scholarship request following the receipt of their acceptance letter from IHU.

The George and Victoria Karelias Foundation grants twelve (12) Scholarships of 5,000€ each for postgraduate studies in Greece for the academic year 2012-2013 in the fields of Regional Economics & Development, Shipping Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration & Economics, Environmental Economics & Development and Agricultural Economics.

The duration of each scholarship is one (1) year.

Deadline for applications is 10.06.2012.

Hellenic Republic Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs Scholarship programme for foreign citizens of 27 countries – academic year 2012-2013.

Scholarships granted by the Greek Government to foreign citizens who wish to attend undergraduate or postgraduate studies or carry out research in Greece for the academic year 2012-2013 or a summer seminar on the Greek language and civilization for the summer of 2012.

The Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs has announced scholarships for foreign citizens of 27 countries.

The deadline for applications is 30 April 2012.

Scholarships for foreign nationals to study in Greece
Greek Scholarships for international students in the framework of bilateral cultural agreements.
The Ministry of National Education, lifelong learning and religious affairs has announced scholarships for nationals of 44 countries. All six postgraduate programs of the International Hellenic University are eligible.

e8 Scholarship Programme

The purpose of the e8 scholarship is to support outstanding students pursuing advanced studies in sustainable energy development and to encourage meaningful contributions to the collective body of knowledge about this subject.

The e8 considers an outstanding student to be one:
  • who graduates with excellent grades in the top 20% of her/his class
  • who is determined to advance her/his knowledge and understanding
  • who has a history of community involvement
  • who is committed to sustainable energy
  • who is committed to return and contribute to her/his home country


Who is eligible?

  • To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must plan to undertake studies at the Masters level in areas directly related to sustainable energy development
  • Be citizens of the developing countries and territories identified for OECD official development aid in the DAC List of ODA Recipients effective as of 2006
  • Scholarships of US$ 23,000 per year for up to two years are offered for Masters level students. Up to ten Masters scholarships will be awarded annually.

Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarships programme for foreign students from developing countries – academic year 2010-11

Within the framework of Hellenic Development Cooperation and Assistance, Hellenic Aid grants for the academic year 2010—2011, 100 scholarships for studies in Greece to nationals of countries included in the list of the Development Assistance Committee of OECD.

The deadline for submitting applications to the Greek authorities abroad is July 30, 2010.

Hellenic Aid evaluates all submitted applications, selects the scholars and announces the results to successful applicants via the Greek authorities in the recipient countries, around September.

Postgraduate candidates must have been admitted in a University Postgraduate Course, before they apply for the Hellenic Aid scholarship.
