Professor Georgios Tsirigotis

Professor Georgios Tsirigotis

Professor Georgios Tsirigotis is a specialist in automated control systems and has been working at the former Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology (nowadays, International Hellenic University) since 1986. He worked at the Department of Electrical Engineering, and from 2014 onwards in the Department of Computer Engineering, where he teaches the courses: "Scientific Computing", "Neural Networks", "Signals and Systems" and "Automated Control Systems".

He got PhD from the University of Blaise Pascal in France, where he has been also a guest researcher. Formerly he also graduated from the "PATES-SELETE" School and the "Higher School of Electronics of Thessaloniki". His research activity focuses on the areas of Automation Control Systems, Neural Networks and Epistemology. He has published research papers in international scientific journals and conferences. He is a member of scientific committees in international scientific journals and conferences.

He has taught as Visiting Professor at many European Universities and has participated in European Programs for the Study of curricula at European Universities in the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He speaks French and English.
