Professor Georgios Tsirigotis

Professor Georgios Tsirigotis is a graduate of the Department “Electronique Electrotechnique Automatique” of the University of Clermont Auvergne (formerly Blaise Pascal) in France, where he also completed his postgraduate studies (DEA: Composants and Systems), as well as his Phd Thesis on “Automaton control with vocal information”.

He has been working at the former Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology (nowadays, International Hellenic University) since 1986. He worked at the Department of Electrical Engineering, and from 2014 onwards in the Department of Computer Engineering, where he teaches Scientific Computing, Neural Networks, Signals and Systems and Control Systems.

He has taught as Visiting Professor at many European Universities.

He has published 40 research papers in international scientific journals and conferences. His research activity focuses on the areas of Control Systems, Robotics, Human Machine Interface, Philosophy of Science, Neural Networks and Epistemology.
