IHU - TU-HH Joint Summer School on Process Simulation and Energy Modelling
Aim
Main objective of the summer school is to provide an in-depth training in all aspects of Process Simulation and Modelling of Energy Conversion Applications. The participants (early stage researchers, engineers or practitioners) will be introduced to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Process Simulation Tools based on CAPE-OPEN specifications. Focus will be placed on understanding the multi-scale nature of energy conversion processes and the various numerical methods available for their optimization. The participants will be able to analyze case studies of various energy conversion applications by employing computational tools.
Organisers
Τhe Summer School is co organized by the IHU School of Science and Technology and Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH - Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg) which are currently on a 3-year educational collaboration funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).
Who can participate
The summer school is mainly addressed to graduate students in Engineering, Physics and related areas and to researchers/professional working at universities, research centers and industry. The working language is English.
Venue
The summer school will take place at the premises of the International Hellenic University in Thermi, Thessaloniki. For more information click here.
The summer school is part of the parallel events of the MSc in Energy Systems of the International Hellenic University
